[2023/01/27 16:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: You both have memories of your past lives, but they get more and more disjointed and chaotic as you get to the present... whenever that is.... whereever that is...! A long journey, danger, and a big climatic battle and then a -whirl- of static and you're in a mental void of -nothingness-.... is that a sound of baying hounds you hear? And then awareness comes back, you're staggering on a tiled floor... in a large room... with a very surprisedlooking lady on a throne. There's guards, and a man standing beside you, looking very smug.
[2023/01/27 16:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: If you've seen a lawyer in a trial, you know the look, hands in his lapels, thumbs out. And he's saying: "And thus I cured the plague, and reversed time to before the plague, thus saving untold legions of people from death!"
[2023/01/27 16:11] Alicia Frakture: My hand moves to my wrench looking around, not sure what is going on. Mouth shut taking stock of what is going on
[2023/01/27 16:11] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Groaning some as Debben looks up and around, memories disjointed, the dwarven lass looks around, and sees the lady on the throne, before hanging her head and kneeling, suspecting that whatever has happened, their history must have come back to haunt them if they're in a throne room.
[2023/01/27 16:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: The lady on the throne looks if anything, even more surprised. "Gosh. A plague? I didn't know we had one." You are aware of a lot of guards running into the room, also looking surprised to see you.

[2023/01/27 16:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: The man beside you starts to look a bit doubtful himself. "Yes.... the plague... it broke out in the future... and I cured it, and came back in time...."
[2023/01/27 16:18] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: *Oh no*, she thinks to herself. *He's gone and started a con then lost confidence partway through. Who is this man?*
[2023/01/27 16:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: Lady on the throne: "Well... gosh... thank you." Man beside you: "Damnit. You don't remember, of course... should've brought something... eh, I wouldn't believe me either." He looks quite dejected.
[2023/01/27 16:19] Alicia Frakture: Leesha raises an eyebrow and stands straight up looking at the lawyer type. A look on her face showing that she doesn't buy a word of this.
[2023/01/27 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: Lady on the throne: "So who are these?" Man beside you: "They helped... perhaps they might remember... although they could've been outside the chronic field."
[2023/01/27 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: Everyone looks at you expectantly.
[2023/01/27 16:22] Alicia Frakture: **Are any of said fractured memories involving a plague?**
[2023/01/27 16:22] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Sir," Debben offers, "Even if you did not bring physical proof, perhaps you would have a proof of future knowledge otherwise?"
[2023/01/27 16:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: You've a whole bunch of disjointed memories close to the present, some do involve sick people in some way.
[2023/01/27 16:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: The man scowls at this question. "No, because the future hasn't happened, and current events can change the future."
[2023/01/27 16:25] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks around."Memory fuzzy, but I do remember something about sick people but does not mean a plague." She then looks to the lawyer. tell us about the plague it might jog memories
[2023/01/27 16:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: The man sighs. "Bah, I can see everyone thinks I'm mad. I'll just be on my way, then." A discrete nod from the lady on the throne, and a few guards approach. "Don't worry, I'll go quietly."
[2023/01/27 16:27] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Sir! What was the cure?"
[2023/01/27 16:28] Sonja Bikergrrl: "A lot of magic, and a lot of fighting. We adventured for many months... you don't remember..?"
[2023/01/27 16:30] Alicia Frakture: Leesha draws her wrench and smacks it into the palm of her hand."you mean to tell me we beat up a plague?"
[2023/01/27 16:30] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Not... clearly, no. It's all a mess." She glances to how the guards are acting at this point.
[2023/01/27 16:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guards move quickly but discreetly to usher the man out. Magic is not encouraged, and large amounts of magic make nobles nervous.
[2023/01/27 16:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: You notice an old guy in robes pointing at you and saying something to a few of the nearest guards, before he slips out of a door. The guards look at each other, then approach you.
[2023/01/27 16:34] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Are we free to go?" She asks, hopefully.
[2023/01/27 16:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: The nearest guard shakes his head. "Archmage Ridcully wants a word. Best you come along."
[2023/01/27 16:35] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben knows better than to attempt resisting at this juncture.
[2023/01/27 16:36] Alicia Frakture: Leesha narrows her eyes."Archmage who?" She shrugs."You know what? Fine, let's go."
[2023/01/27 16:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guards flank you as one leads the way out of the throne room. (They're firm, but non-threatening.)
[2023/01/27 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: We'll pause it there, I do better be off to bed
[2023/01/27 16:38] Alicia Frakture: Leesha follows the guards and then looks at Debben."Ever get the feeling something is seriously fucked up"
[2023/01/27 16:39] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I don't even recall what it's like for things not to be fucked up," she mutters back.
